Features & Operation
- TDU System meant for true utilization of sanction
- TDU is used to control / maintain Electricity Board Sanction Demand of the plant through intelligent load management of Furnaces & Other Auxiallary.
- Equal Power Sharing or Priority based Power Sharing of Furnaces through TDU system achieves desired Load Factor and Production benefits.
- TDU System will communicate with energy meter and accordingly controls (increase/ decrease) the running power of furnace to achieve better utilization of total available Power.
- TDU System will allow the furnace to run on higher power for few minutes based on available extra power from other auxiliaries which was calculated by PLC.
- Instead of switching OFF the furnace,PLC system will decrease power of furnace in case of higher utilization of sanction demand or Generation Power.
- TDU System will observe the power utilized by auxiliary load and after calculation spare power will be fed to furnaces.
- It will allow todraw the power with reference to pre-defined Set Power, so that load factor can be achieved maximum and production can be maximized.
- Night & Day Maximum Demand can set individually and its interchange with Time is Automatic.

System operation for Plant with CPP
- Island Set Power /Import Power Set point to be given at SCADA once, System is automatically Control Power of the furnaces power with priority or equal sharing. Means System will control Furnace power automatically after deduction other loads from generation and grid.
- If Generation goes down then system will automatically take care and reduced power of the furnace, no manual interruption required. Vice versa furnace power sharing with other aux loads.
- If Grid trips then system will automatically take care and reduced power of the furnace as per Generation (Max. Set point) at Island Condition.
